Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Orange, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
License Requirements C-12 Earthwork and Paving Contractor Liquidated Damages $1,500.00 per calendar day Estimated Bid Value The estimated value of this project is in excess of $1.6 million This project includes but is not limited to repairing and replacing asphalt in the playground, walkways, and parking lot at Jordan Elementary School, Nohl Canyon Elementary School, Portola Middle School, and Running Springs Elementary School. Running Springs Dr., Anaheim, CA 92808 (3) The Project Scope of Work includes the following: (a) Contractor responsible for: 1) Remove the existing broken asphalt in the kindergarten playground to a depth of 3" and haul away to an offsite location. 2) Fine grade, roll, and compact the grade prior to asphalt installation. 3) Furnish and install 3" asphaltic concrete to this area, roll and compact. 4) Cold plane the primary playground (balance of the area) to a depth of 2" and haul away to an offsite location. 5) Apply a trackless tack coat to the asphalt prior to the overlay. 6) Furnish and install 2" asphaltic concrete overlay to the primary playground (balance of the area) roll and compact. 7) Re-stripe both playgrounds per the existing layouts. 8) Sub-grade to be accepted at +/- a tenth (0.10) to balance (4) Nohl Canyon Elementary School (5) Nohl Canyon Elementary School, 4100 E. Nohl Canyon Rd., Anaheim, CA 92807 (6) The Project Scope of Work includes the following: (a) Contractor responsible for: 1) Remove existing damaged asphaltic concrete and sub-grade to a depth of 7" on the primary playground and haul away to an offsite location 2) Remove existing damaged asphaltic concrete and sub-grade to a depth of 10" on the parking lots and haul away to an offsite location 3) Fine grade, roll and compact the grade prior to asphalt installation. 4) Furnish and install 4" Class 2 Crushed Miscellaneous base (CMB) roll and compact for parking lot. 5) Furnish and install 3" asphaltic concrete roll and compact. 6) Furnish and install redwood headers as needed. 7) Apply 2 coats of Slurry Seal to the existing asphaltic paving at the east end of the parking lot. 8) Re-stripe the primary playground and parking lot per the existing layouts. 9) Sub-grade to be accepted at +/- a tenth (0.10) to balance. (7) Jordan Elementary School (8) Jordan Elementary School, 4319 E. Jordan Ave., Orange, CA 92869 (9) The Project Scope of Work includes the following: (a) Contractor responsible for: 1) Remove the existing broken asphalt in the lunch shelter area to a depth of 3" and haul away to an offsite location. 2) Remove existing damaged asphaltic concrete and sub-grade to a depth of 7" on the playground and haul away to an offsite location. 3) Fine grade, roll, and compact the grade prior to the asphalt installation. 4) Furnish and install 4" Class 2 Crushed Miscellaneous base (CMB) to the playground, roll and compact. 5) Furnish and install 3" asphaltic concrete to the playground, roll and compact. 6) Furnish and install 3" asphaltic concrete to the lunch shelter area, roll and compact. 7) Furnish and install redwood headers as needed. 8) Apply 2 coats of Slurry Seal to the existing and new asphalt paving at the lunch shelter area. 9) Re-stripe the playgrounds per the existing layouts. 10) Sub-grade to be accepted at +/- a tenth (0.10) to balance. (10) Portola Middle School (11) Portola Middle School, 270 North Palm Dr., Orange, CA 92868 (12) The Project Scope of Work includes the following: (a) Contractor Responsible for: 1) Cold Plane asphalt along west side 200 bldg. and north of 700 bldg to a 2' wide and depth of 3" and haul away to an offsite location. 2) Remove existing damaged asphaltic concrete and sub-grade to a dept of 7" on the playground and haul away to an offsite location. 3) Fine grade, roll and compact the grade prior to the asphalt installation. 4) Furnish and install 4" Class 2 Crushed Miscellaneous Base (CMB) to the playground roll and compact. 5) Furnish and install 3" asphaltic concrete to the playground, roll and compact. 6) Furnish and install 3" asphaltic concrete to cold plane areas, roll and compact.
