City of Wilmington is requesting proposals from qualified and experi-enced playground equipment providers to design, build, and install an ADA com-pliant playground in the South Island Park. The property is located at 201 BridgeStreet, Wilmington, IL 60481. A map of the site along with pictures are includedIn Exhibit B. The proposer is to provide a completed plan with the City ofWilmington reserving the right to work with the successful proposer to make mod-ifications to the plan.The City of Wilmington is committed to construct this park in Summer 2025and a deed is secured by the City for the property. Costs for the playground havealready been budgeted. The selected contractor will be invited to enter into anagreement with the City, in a form to be provided by the City ("Agreement"), toprovide the equipment and services in accordance with the Project Scope sectionof this Request For Proposal ("RFP").
