The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish one or multiple award Job Order Contracts (JOC or Contract) to qualified Contractors to provide for General Construction on an as-needed basis at various SCPS facilities over a one year Base Term and up to two (2) one (1) year additional Option Terms. Work Location: 23350 Southampton Pkwy Courtland, VA 23837. A JOC is a competitively Proposal, firm fixed priced, indefinite quantity contract. The Work includes a collection of Tasks and related specifications that have pre-established unit prices. JOCs are to be used for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, construction, maintenance, rehabilitation, demolition and construction of infrastructure and buildings by means of individual Job Orders issued under the JOCs and related to discrete, identified Projects. The typical Work is anticipated to include, but not be limited to: General carpentry, metal framing and gypsum wallboard installation Masonry and concrete work Earthwork, excavation, exterior improvement, flex and rigid paving, landscaping Roofing of different type: metal, TPO, PVC membrane, metal, slate, etc. Steam fitting, pipe-fitting and plumbing Structural steel and sheet metal, welding Painting of various surfaces Demolition Heating Ventilation and Air Condition, Electrical, Low Voltage and Plumbing construction Asbestos abatement, hazardous material handling Carpeting, flooring, gypsum wallboard finishing Doors, windows, louvers, hardware and glazing Telecommunications cabling services Question Deadline 03/18/2025 at 3:00 PM ET Questions may be emailed directly to Will Melbye wmelbye@southampton.k12.va.us.
