The heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC) system includes any interior surface of the facility's air distribution system for conditioned spaces and/or occupied zones. This includes the entire HVAC from the points where the air enters the system to the points where the air is discharging from the system. The return air grilles, return air ducts to the air handling unit (AHU), the interior surfaces of the AHU, mixing box, condensate drain pans, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, supply air ducts, fans, fan housing, fan blades, air wash systems, spray eliminators, turning vanes and supply diffusers are all considered part of the HVAC system. The HVAC system may also include other components such as dedicated exhaust and ventilation components, make-up air systems and/or coil compartment and reheat coils. The term of the Contract shall commence upon award and shall remain in effect for a period of ONE (1) YEAR, unless terminated, canceled or extended as otherwise provided herein. The Contractor agrees that the City of Tucson shall have the right, at its sole option, to renew the Contract for FOUR (4) ADDITIONTAL ONE YEAR PERIODS or portions thereof. In the event that the City exercises such rights, all terms, conditions and provisions of the original Contract shall remain the same and apply during the renewal period with the possible exception of price and minor scope additions and/or deletions. Question Submission Deadline: March 14, 2025, 12:00pm The City may, at reasonable times, and at the City's expense, inspect the place of business of a Contractor or subcontractor which is related to the performance of any Contract as awarded or to be awarded.
