Site work and renovation of a civil project in Peoria, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project provides for the project coordination, public involvement, pre-design studies, design, land acquisition, construction, materials testing, construction administration, utility coordination, and all related site work for the rehabilitation of an existing raw water booster pump station that provides raw water to the Quintero Water Treatment Facility. The CAP Pump Station is the only source of water for the Quintero community. The station is outdated and not up to current City standards. The project includes backfill of an existing basin, replacement of pump station piping, replacement of aging pumps, and the relocation and replacement of existing electrical equipment that is beyond its expected lifespan. The site itself is located outside of the City's limits at 163rd Avenue and Jomax Road. The project is include in the City of Peoria's 2025-2034 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 7, 2025, this project has started construction and was awarded through a Job Order Contract (JOC). *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
