Site work for a road / highway in Mount Ida, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The Project includes the following Work: Approx 1/3-mile asphalt trail replacement and rehab at the City Park complete with new signage. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Mount Ida Forest Jones Park Trail Improvements The Project has an expected duration of 45 consecutive calendar days. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website IN ORDER TO BE ACCURATELYREGISTERED AS AN ELIGIBLEPLAN HOLDER, contract documents must be obtained fromQuestCDN.com or OWN, Inc., and must accurately register as a plan holder. Bid documents submitted that were obtained through a 3rdparty will be considered non-responsive. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects or to reject any or all bids and to re-advertise and to rebid. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount of five percent (5%) of his/her base bid which is subject to conditions provided in the EJCDC C200 Instructions to Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and State Prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: OWN, Inc. 111 North Front Street Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834 Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 am 5:00 pm, and Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 11:00 a.m., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying$175.00 for each set. Make checks for Bidding Documents payable to OWN, Inc. No refunds will be given to any Bidders for any reason. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Upon Issuing Offices receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent. Pre-bid Conference A pre-bid conference for the Project will NOT be held. Instructions to Bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Notice to Bidders The City of Mount Ida hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws, and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. Build America, Buy America provisions apply to this project. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED that Arkansas State Contractor Licensing Law applies to this project. Subcontractors are also required to be licensed according to Arkansas State Law. Licensure is not required to submit a bid; however, evidence of licensures hall be provided to the Owner prior to signing the contract. All references to FHWA-1273 to minimum wage rates required by the Davis-Bacon Act are hereby deleted. Davis-Bacon minimum wage rates are not applicable to this contract. All other provisions of FHWA-1273 apply including the submittal of weekly payroll records. Question Deadline 03/31/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
