Remodeling of an educational facility in South Charleston, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
Bridge Valley Community & Technical College (hereinafter referred to as "BVCTC" is soliciting bids pursuant to West Virginia Code 5A-3-10b to furnish materials and labor to install an operable partition between rooms 321 and 322 in building 2000. Target Award Date: April 9, 2025 Any questions should be directed to: john.galatic@bridgevalley.edu. Questions will be received until 3:00 PM on March 11, 2025 @ 3 PM. The Institution reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in bids or specifications . The vendor shall furnish materials and labor to demolish existing walls and install an operable partition between rooms 321 and 322. This project includes: 3.1.1 Removing acoustical ceiling as required for the work space. 3.1.2 Erecting temporary plastic partitions around the work area. 3.1.3 Demolition of the metal stud wall between classrooms 321 and 322. 3.1.4 Design and construction of a steel support system for the operable partition. 3.1.5 Construction of new stud walls for the operable partition pocket. 3.1.6 Floor patching with new accent color where metal stud wall was removed. 3.1.7 Painting of new stud walls at operable partition pocket. 3.1.8 Reset and reconfigure acoustical ceiling as needed. 3.1.9 Move mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, or electrical components as needed 3.1.10 Installation of motorized operable partition. 3.1.11 Power to motorized operable partition.
