Question Deadline 03/21/2025 The contractor shall not be permitted to deviate from the specifications unless written questions or requests are submitted a minimum of seven (7) working days prior to bid opening BID SECURITY equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check as prescribed by LA RS 38:2218 must be attached to and made a part of the bid. If a bid bond is provided it shall be on the provided form and only on the provided form. Bid bonds must be written by a qualified company licensed to do business in Louisiana. Budget: $500,000 The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. For this project, Liquidated Damages will apply in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00)per day for each consecutive calendar day which the work is not completed, beginning with the first day beyond the established completion date of 74 days. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after actual date of the opening thereof. Perspective bidders must remain in attendance for the duration of the conference.
