This work includes repair, renovation, rehabilitation, replacement and installation in support of Facilities Management and Auxiliary Services and Student Housing and Hospitality Services. A supplier is not required to tender for all three (3) lots. The same supplier may be awarded several lots. Each lot is managed by one or more designated representatives, depending on the operational structure. The services are divided into three lots that will be the subject of separate contracts: Lot 1 - Downtown Campus and Thermal Power Plant: The operations of the Montreal Downtown campus cover approximately 120 buildings, divided into four (4) geographic areas (Southeast, Southwest, Northeast and Northwest). Each area is managed by a supervisor and his team, responsible for the maintenance of equipment. The work is mainly of an institutional nature. The Centre-ville campus overlaps the Ville-Marie and Plateau Mont-Royal boroughs and is partially located on the Mount Royal Heritage Site. The Utilities Management department manages the thermal power plant in the city center and all of the campus underground networks. Lot 2 - Macdonald Campus in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue: The operations of the Macdonald Campus, located in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, cover approximately 90 buildings dedicated to education and research, a farm, greenhouses, sports facilities, a thermal power plant and underground networks. All is managed by a supervisor and his team, responsible for the maintenance of equipment. The Macdonald Campus is home to the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. The work is mainly institutional in nature. Lot 3 - Residences: The University has 37 residences located on the downtown campus and the Macdonald campus in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. It offers various accommodation options, ranging from student residences with dining areas and common areas to rental apartments. The types of residences vary from single room to shared room, with private or shared bathroom.
