This Contract will be a regional contract that will include counties within District 7. The Contractor shall perform Type2, Permanent Traffic Signal repairs pursuant to the terms of this Contract and at the direction of the Department. Provide a letter to the Department at the time of bid, from a surety authorized to do business in the State of Florida, verifying the bonding capability in the State of Florida. For the purposes of this contract, the dollar amount is established at $1,000,000.00. The total value of compensation for Task Work Orders for this contract may not exceed $2,000,000.00 per year on average over the contract term. No quantities are guaranteed and there will be no unit cost adjustment for quantities required over or under the estimated quantities. The Contractor will perform at least 30% of each Task Work Order amount with the Contractor's organization. The Contractor must pre-position, deploy, and maintain at least 75% of the total number of Traffic Signal repair crews that the Department requires. Awarded Contractor must execute documents within five (5) calendar days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and state holidays.
