The Village of Little Valley, Cattaraugus County, New York, will be accepting statements of qualifications for Engineering Consulting Services for the Village's water improvements project. The Village of Little Valley is in the process of undertaking a second phase of their water improvements project. The Village recently completed first phase of their water improvements project which included the replacement of water main throughout the Village. They are now looking to undertake various well site improvements. The Village is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide construction administration, inspection, and other related engineering services for the second phase of this project. The Village will be utilizing various funding agencies to finance this project, and the selected engineering firm will be responsible for complying with all the various funding agency requirements. Utilizing a qualifications-based process, the Village will select a consulting engineering firm licensed in the State of New York to administer and close-out the second phase of the project as the need arises. The selection of the consultant will be valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of Village Board approval and the Village reserves the right to renew the selected consultant contract for an additional three (3) years. Proposals received after that time will not be considered. To be evaluated properly, the following must be addressed in detail: . Qualifications - Availability of qualified personnel and capacity of the firm to carry out professional engineering services. . Experience - Experience and technical expertise of the firm and its personnel as well as information regarding projects previously undertaken, including the types and cost of projects. .
