Renovation of a municipal facility in Algonquin Highlands, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Public Works Department has issued a Request For Proposal (RFP) RFP-02-2025, which involves roof insulation and repair and/or replacement for two Public Works buildings. The work to be completed includes installing 4-inch ISO Board insulation over the existing metal roof to enhance thermal efficiency, supplying and installing a metal drip edge along all roof borders to prevent water infiltration, applying a roofing membrane to ensure a watertight seal, properly sealing all roof penetrations to prevent future leaks, and supplying and installing new flashings around the entire roof perimeter to ensure a secure and weatherproof finish. Both roofs at 19951 and 19897 Hwy 118, Tory Hill, are to be completed similarly. Alternative repair or replacement options will be considered by the owner within this RFP and bidding process.
