Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Victoria, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; office development; office development; retail development; and retail development.
Reference Number 0000378975 The City of Victoria ("the City") invites interest from qualified developers to propose innovative public-private partnership (P3) ideas for the redevelopment of a city-owned property located at THE INTERSECTION OF N. MAIN STREET AND E. NORTH STREET into a mixed-use project that may include residential, commercial, retail, office, and others. The Site consists of two adjoining lots that offer a combined 0.8788 acres at the corner of North Street and Main Street. The address of the front parcel is 606 N. Main on 0.4372 acres and the address of the rear parcel is 605 N. Liberty Street on 0.4416 acres. The site previously had a building on it which was demolished over ten years ago. The City will select an evaluation committee that will receive and evaluate responses, they will be qualified by the evaluation criteria in section 005, may interview respondents, that may be included in a vendor pool of the best-qualified respondents to the City of Victoria. This pool will be retained for a five (5) year period. The highly qualified respondent pool will be a list of approved firms for the City of Victoria. Award of a vendor pool contract does not in-and-of-itself entitle the selected firm to any work of the City or payment from the City but instead provides the City with a list of approved firms from which to solicit qualifications/proposals if and when the City decides to use the vendor pool services in performance of a project. At that time, the City may solicit qualifications/proposal(s) from vendor pool firm(s).
