Proposer must be licensed by the State of California to undertake the type of design work required by the Project (engineer's/architect's certificate number must be included in proposal) Proposals will be examined by District Staff and reported to the San Mateo County Harbor District Board of Harbor Commissioners within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the proposals have been opened. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals; or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal or in the proposal procedure; or to postpone the proposal opening for good cause. No Proposer may withdraw its proposal for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the date of opening of the proposals. Each Proposer will be notified of award of contract, if an award is made. The San Mateo County Harbor District (District) requests proposals from qualified Proposers to provide design, engineering, public outreach, permitting and construction management services for the Burnham Strip Overflow Parking Lot Project, a project to improve recreational access to the San Mateo Coast. The District intends to create a new parking lot and greenspace area in order to accommodate overflow vehicle parking caused by a high number of users at Pillar Point Harbor, launch ramp, local restaurants, retail businesses and local public beaches (to include Surfers Beach). Therefore, the District is currently requesting qualified firms or individuals to submit design, engineering, public outreach, permitting and construction management proposals for consideration. Selected Proposer will complete 90% design/engineering submittals within ninety (120) calendar days of Notice to Proceed (NTP) issuance.
