Site work for a pipeline in Falls City, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.
The City of Falls City is planning to replace a section of steel distribution pipe with high-density polyethylene pipe. The project includes retiring approximately 6,300 feet of steel pipe. The retired steel pipe will be replaced with new HDPE pipe, which includes approximately 3,090 feet of 2-inch HDPE pipe, and 3,100 feet of 1 1/4- inch HDPE pipe, and 8 tie-ins. The project also includes replacing 55 services and tying-in 44 services. The exact course and layout of the pipelines is indicated on the associated Drawings. The Project consists of replacing existing steel gas mains with plastic gas mains, replacing existing steel services and tying over existing poly services. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders Question Deadline 03/25/2025
