The work to be completed as a part of this project consists of providing all required materials, equipment and labor necessary to complete the +/- 3,200-LF of Phase III Roadway and Water Improvements along 12th Street Extension in the Saxe Gotha Industrial Park (SGIP) in Lexington County, South Carolina with the following approximate quantities: Base Bid: Proposed improvements include twelve (12) Acres of Land Disturbance, installation of 12-inch Graded Aggregate Base Course (GABC), 2-inch Asphalt Intermediate Course (Type B), 2-inch Asphalt Surface Course (Type B) for a four (4) lane roadway for an approximately 3,200-LF distance, associated storm drainage crossings, and erosion and sediment control measures. Base Bid Alternate 1: Proposed improvements include approximately 2,800-LF of 10-inch Water Main, four (4) Fire Hydrant Assemblies, and associated appurtenances along the proposed 12th Street Extension Phase III road within the proposed roadway right-of-way. Question Deadline 04/02/2025 at 2:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Bidders must deposit security with all bids. Security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner, and shall be for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Certified check or bid bond MUST be submitted via IonWave in the Response Attachment tab and NOT brought to the Procurement office. There will NOT be a Pre-bid Conference for this project.
