SCOPE OF WORK: Selected Contractor to include all necessary items for the proper completion of the Work so the Owner will have a fully functioning library facility and receive the benefits of the use as intended and shown in the Contract Documents prepared by SD Collaborative, Inc. The bid will be broken down into a base scope and 1 alternate for pricing. ESTIMATED COST: $4,337,107.00 The project location is at the Westchester Regional Library (9445 Coral Way, Miami, FL 33165). The project is partially funded by a FEMA grant and Contractor is required to comply with all FEMA requirements. The work includes, but is not limited to furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, and incidentals necessary for the construction services The contractor is responsible to coordinate all work, including but not limited to all waterproofing for windows, curbs and sills with roofing scope of work, As part of the bid price the awarded. Contractor will include a two (2) year warranty on labor for any issues related to the roofing & glazing. BASE PROJECT SCOPE: Construction services for exterior and interior improvements to include: demolition of existing and new roof (upper and terraces), new high impact resistant windows, storefront and doors, exterior waterproofing and sealing, associated interior improvements to include drywall, floor and wall finishes, and electrical improvements). ALTERNATE 1 SCOPE: Construction Services for exterior improvements to the maintenance parking area including new paving, re-asphalting, expansion of parking area, securing of parking area, grading and drainage improvements, new electrical infrastructure including electric vehicle infrastructure and electric vehicle stations.
