for the following project: Sandy Lee Watkins Park Restroom Facility 16040 Hwy 351 Henderson, KY 42420 All bids will be taken under advisement for the Architect's & County Engineer's review. The deposit for plans and specifications will be returned to all the bidders, upon the return of plans, contract documents, and specifications to Maco - Evansville Blue in very good condition, within 14 days from date of receiving bids. A copy of plans and specifications may be examined free of charge at the office of SKINNER DESIGN ASSOCIATES, Architecture. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Henderson County Treasurer or bidder's bond executed by the bidder and Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Kentucky in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Should any contractor whose bid is accepted default in furnishing 100% Performance and Payment Bond and contract required, then certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner. The contracts, for the respective work of the Project, shall be awarded, if at all, on the basis of the lowest and best evaluated bid prices. The Henderson County Fiscal Court reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids if, in its judgement, the best interest of the county will be served.
