Specifically, the intersection requires widening to meet the design standards established by AASHTO and FHWA. The receiving lanes on Warner Road do not meet the minimum width requirements for dual left turns, necessitating additional lane construction. To accommodate these changes, the northwest corner will require a temporary construction easement, and the traffic signal infrastructure must be relocated and upgraded.
