The Horry County Solid Waste Authority is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the installation of 2 sections of fence netting for litter control purposes. Scope of Services Fencing 1. HCSWA wishes to install 2,400 feet of fence in the following manner: A. Section 1 - 1,700 feet along the perimeter road leading up to the MSW disposal area. B. Section 2 - 700 feet along the edge of the entrance to the service road near the new Class II landfill cell. Poles 1. Installation of poles above the ground limit sufficient for installing the 20 foot netting material, and angled extension. 2. Poles to be set 50 foot on center. 3. Poles to be embedded 10 feet, with backfill and tamped. 4. All poles are to meet ANSI standards with a fiber stress rating of no less than 8,000 psi. 5. All corner, end and angle poles will be anchored with galvanized steel screw-in or bust out type anchors using 3/8" aircraft cable. 6. Guy wires to be marked with yellow safety covers. Netting 1. 3/8" poly-rope border is attached to support system using galvanized snap hooks and shackles. Cables 1. 3/8" galvanized steel aircraft cable (MBS @ 14,400 lbs. SPEC: MIL-W83420D) is used for the top and bottom supports. 2. 5/16" galvanized steel aircraft cable PVC coated to 3/8" (MBS @ 9,k800 lbs SPEC: MIL-W-83420D) is used for horizontal rib lines and vertical supports.
