Site work for a civil project in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Location: The cities of Woodson Terrace, St. John and Breckenridge Hills – between Interstate-70 and St. Charles Rock Road. Voters in both the city of St. Louis and St. Louis County passed proposal W that was on the ballot April 2, 2024, for the bond issue for the Project Clear program. There are approximately 3 dozen projects involved; most have been completed. As part of a long-term effort to reduce basement backups and overflows, MSD Project Clear is constructing a project to replace approximately 2,500 feet of undersized wastewater sewers in the cities of Woodson Terrace, St. John and Breckenridge Hills. MSD Project Clear is investing approximately $2.2 million to improve wastewater sewers in the cities of Woodson Terrace, St. John and Breckenridge Hills. The goal is to reduce basement backups and sewer overflows, which occur when the sewers become overloaded during intense rainfall. This project will reduce such occurrences by increasing the size and capacity of the existing sewer. As of March 12, 2025, project is on-going and done in-house. This project is estimated to begin construction in the Spring of 2024 and end in Summer of 2025.
