Site work for a water / sewer project in Alamo, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes water line replacements on Joe Bill Williams Road, Gum Flat Road, Old Jackson Road, Bailey Road, and Jay Bird Lane. Water line installations include 16,250 LF of 6 PVC, 18,750 LF of 8 PVC, installed by open cut and directional bore. Services will be connected to new lines along with new flush hydrants. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering on the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of County Wide Utility District. No bidder may withdraw his bid within (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
