The project is the removal of existing, and installation of new traffic signal assemblies to include new signal poles and arms, signal heads, PTZ cameras, preemption systems, wireless communication system, luminaries, pedestrian signal assemblies, and electrical services to be connected into the existing signal cabinets at four (4) separate intersections along University Blvd (Lexington Blvd, US 59, Telfair/Wescott Ave, and New Territory Blvd). The scope includes the partial reconstruction of the northwest island and relocation of the pedestrian crossing at the intersection of University and Lexington Blvd. The City of Sugar Land seeks bids for furnishing all labor, material, and equipment, and performing all work required for the following project in the City: University Boulevard Intersection Signal Improvements LOCATION OF WORK: University Boulevard A non-mandatory pre-bid / site-visit for all interested parties will be held NO VALUE on NO VALUE at NO VALUE. The Selected Bidder(S) Will Be Required to Enter Into the City of Sugar Land Standard Contract for Civil Engineering Construction Projects and Provide and Maintain the Minimum Insurance Coverages Required Under the Contract. The City Council will award the contract as provided in the Invitation to Bid. The City of Sugar Land will give notice of the contract award within ninety (90) calendar days after the opening date and time.
