Requesting bids for all labor, materials, equipment, tools, application etc. necessary to for the Reconstruction of WCR and Sidewalks. MA-Highway prequalification required in Highway Sidewalk and Curbing. Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Work shall be done on weekdays between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm and/or for the entire length of the project. The CONTRACTOR shall limit the work to the extent that the CONTRACTOR can return the work area to a safe and passable condition for pedestrian and vehicular traffic at the end of each working period. The work under this contract shall consist of making necessary repairs to existing sidewalks in order to fix hazards and achieve ADA compliance. The average sized cement concrete sidewalk area to be repaired will be a minimum of 10 SY (3 panels) to a maximum of 200 SY. The locations of Wheel Chair Ramps will be concentrated mostly in high pedestrian volume areas. The repairs under this contract will be mostly of pre-existing sidewalks, sidewalk extensions and new sidewalks are minimal. The locations and size of the repairs will be at the sole discretion of the City of Lowell.
