Project Boiler Replacement at DYS Metro Youth Service Center, 425 Harvard St., Dorchester Center, MA 02124 Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Sub Bid Category 23 00 00 HVAC; 26 00 00 Electrical The project in general consists of demolish and removal of four hot water boiler, domestic hot water boiler, hot water storage tank, venting, pumps, piping, electrical connections, and installation of two new gas fired boiler systems. The work requires the terminating of the connections to the existing diesel fuel storage system. The existing diesel fuel shall remain in place to power the existing generator. The work will include the extension of the existing gas service line in the current kitchen to the existing boiler room. . All fire alarm work must be coordinated with DYS’s Fire-Alarm / Protection Service Vendor and the GC and electrical contractor. Installation including all electrical and ductwork connections of owner’s equipment as indicated on drawings shall be included in the base bid. The existing equipment is on site. All work shall be performed within a secured area of the existing building.
