Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Wrentham, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
**As of May 7, 2025, project was awarded to Green Electric, Co, awarded amount is $21,702.96. For electrical work to be performed on the Wrentham Town Common, 1 Franklin Street, Wrentham, MA. Fifty percent payment bond may be required. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Town of Wrentham reserves the right to reject any and all quotes, in whole or in part, and to award based on the best interest of the Town. Wrentham Common electrical upgrades: 1. Remove seven (7) existing light poles, reinstall seven (7) pole lights with townpurchased replacements, and run new feeds for GFIs on light poles. 2. Ensure seven (7) path lights, memorial lights, and Gazebo ceiling lights are on the same timer/sensor (or on the same breaker so we can shut off the rest of them and keep this on) 3. Install additional lights at memorials: a. WWI: One (1) additional light b. Helen/Keller: One (1) additional light (potentially) The one light is close to the monument and in the middle) c. Desert Storm/Shield: One (1) additional light d. Revolutionary: Install Two (2) lights e. Civil War: Install Two (2) lights f. First Meeting House Step: (bushes obstruct) install Two (2) lights on the side 4. Update/Replace nine (9) handholds with waterproof enclosures and add/replace outlets with new GFI outlets with waterproof enclosures 5. Install/upgrade the new panel at the park: a. Ensure that one proper main breaker (it looks like we have multiple now) b. Ensure two (2) photocell/timers: One (1) for path lights and ceiling lights in the gazebo and one (1) for the rest of the park (note item 2 above) c. Ensure breakers are not overloaded with GFI outlets on the back of the panel Direct all questions regarding proposed work to facilities@wrentham.gov
