This project includes the rehabilitation and repair of Norris's gravity sewer system to remove inflow and infiltration. Work to be performed includes approximately 3,000 LF of CIPP lining of 8" gravity sewer, pipe bursting of approximately 700 LF of 8" gravity sewer, CIPP lining of 9 service laterals, lining of approximately 126 VF of manholes, and replacement of four existing manholes. Additional rehabilitation and repairs include the reinstatement or replacement of effected sewer service laterals. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon payment of a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 for each set. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. Standard shipping is two-day delivery. Digital obtains will be available from the Issuing Office at online for a non-refundable fee of $50.00. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, and Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. In addition, the Information for Bidders; Bid Form; Form of Agreement; Drawings; Specifications information; Bid Bond, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond information; and other contract documents may be examined at online. Bid security shall be furnished in the amount of five percent of the total bid amount in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid.
