The City of Victorville is requesting bids to provide routine maintenance, repairs and emergency situation on the Railroad to ensure compliance with Federal & State regulations. Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the Contract Documents must make a written request to the Purchasing Division (email acceptable). cmcalderon@victorvilleca.gov All requests must be received on or before 12:00 p.m. PST on APRIL 9, 2025, to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before the due date for submission of their Bid Proposals. The term of this contract shall be from the date of award by the City Board of Director, until the end of 2025-2026 fiscal year (June 30, 2026); with the option to extend the contract up to four (4) fiscal years (July 1 through June 30), subject to satisfactory performance as determined by the Public Works/Water Director or his designee. For projects over $25,000.00 (including labor and materials), the Contractor, simultaneously with execution of the Contract, shall furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%), of the contract price as security for the faithful performance of the Contract, and a separate surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as security for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials in connection with the Contract.
