The proposed work includes the removal of the existing bridge and construction of a 115 ft long single span NU-53 girder bridge with a concrete deck, drilled shaft foundations, SL-1 guardrail, Type 2 rock blanket, aggregate surfacing, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction 2024, 4th Edition - April 2025 including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 5%.
