Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Oberlin, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of June 2, 2025, the project was awarded to Screed Tech, LLC, with an awarded amount of $413,439.75. Construct Access Road and Parking Lot for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to: Construct Access Road and Parking Lot. In general, this work will require the following approximate quantities: Pavement Removal (1,773 SY); Unclassified Excavation (1,623 CY); Borrow Excavation (182 CY); Concrete Pavement (6" Uniform) (AE) (4,000 PSI) (1,936 SY); Olsson-200 8" Base Course (2,101 SY); Pavement Marking; Seeding; Erosion Control Blanket Parking Lot Area Lighting Questions regarding bids shall be directed to Chris Corr, P.E. at 402.458.5056 Contractors bidding need not be pre-qualified but shall be qualified to do the work. This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The Airport Sponsor has established a contract participation goal of 2.91% for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The Owner's award of this contract is conditioned upon the bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR 26.53. General Civil Rights Provisions: In all its activities within the scope of its airport program, the Contractor agrees to comply with pertinent statutes, Executive Orders, and such rules as identified in Title VI List of Pertinent Nondiscrimination Acts and Authorities to ensure that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability be excluded from participating in any activity conducted with or benefiting from Federal assistance. This provision is in addition to that required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Title VI Solicitation Notice: The City of Oberlin, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award.
