Renovation of an educational facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,920-square-foot educational facility.
Project scope includes but is not limited to installation of one (1) 30'x64' metal shade structure and associated site work. Fabrication and delivery of the shade structure is by the owner/manufacturer. The site contractor is responsible for the off-loading & assembly / installation of the shade structure as shown in the project documents for a complete and operational project. Work to be performed during normal business hours. Engineer's Estimate is $300,000. Disabled Veteran Contractors are encouraged to submit bids. This bid is subject to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise requirements| The successful bidder and all subcontractor(s) shall comply with all applicable Labor Code provisions, which include, but are not limited to, the payment of not less than the required prevailing rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the Contract, the employment of apprentices, the hours of labor and the debarment of contractors and subcontractors. All forms must be completed, signed, and returned with the bid. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the receipt of bids. The successful bidder shall file a payment bond issued by an admitted Surety authorized to conduct business in the State of California approved by the District. A performance bond will also be required. Each bid must conform and be responsive to this notice and all other documents comprising the contract documents.
