Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Griswold, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Contact: Chris Connors Hopeville Management Unit Supervisor- (475) 281-6348 Christopher.connors@ct.gov Intent: The intent of this project is to have a state approved contractor design, source, supply and install new restroom partitions, shower stalls, shower fixtures and ADA compliant equipment throughout the entire building. Timeline: Completion date is negotiable; however, the building must be at least partially publicly accessible by 4/11/2025. Scope: Replace all partitions and supporting hardware throughout the entire campground bathhouse (5 regular stalls, 4 ADA stalls, two urinals). The layout of these stalls shall be based on existing toilets/fixtures, but exact wall placement/stall dimensions to be designed/presented by contractor and agreed up by DEEP. Replace a total of 6 regular and 2 ADA showers stalls, partitions, and associated fixtures (shower heads, trim kits) all existing plumbing to remain in place. All materials shall meet DEEP agency standards (information provided on separate document with approved product brands outlined within the "specialties" section). Contractor and DEEP to discuss and agree upon final material type, color, and other pertinent details. Restroom and shower stalls shall be completely ready for public use upon contractors' completion of project
