Renovation of an educational facility in Springfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 50,000-square-foot educational facility.

This project includes approximately 50,000 SF of Interior and MEP renovation to Cheek Hall on the Missouri State University Campus. Cheek Hall houses two entities including The College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CNAS) which is comprised of the Mathematics Department and the Department of Computer Sciences. The second entity is the Department of Information Services. Cheek also houses an open-access computer lab and one of the two university data centers. This project will be occupied during construction therefore will be phased. Below lists a general breakout of the phasing plan. Phase 1 Basement (Mechanical Equipment Rooms) Level 1 - East Side (Computer Science Dept, Commons, Lobby) Mezzanine (Math Dept) Phase 2 Level 1 - West Side (Information Services Dept, Student Success Area) Mezzanine (West Corridor/Balcony) Level 2 (Teaching Labs, Research Labs, Mechanical Room) Level 3 (Elevator Lobby) Your bid proposal should reflect the project schedule, temporary requirements, general requirements, trade coordination, general and specific scope requirements as outlined in the bid package and associated exhibits. We strongly urge you to propose voluntary time and/or cost saving alternates. Those alternates that are acceptable to the Owner will be used in the evaluation of your base bid proposal. Time/cost saving alternates that you propose will be held in strict confidence and will not be given to your competitors. *Project documents have not yet been obtained to post.
