The objective of this scope is to install five (5) new Lighted Daybeacon assemblies at locations of lost and/or missing timber piles with navigational aid signs and day beacons. Lighted Daybeacon assemblies are missing at four (4) locations, while one damaged Lighted Daybeacon is still in place and needs to be removed, disposed of, and replaced with a new Lighted Daybeacon assembly. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and transportation necessary to furnish and install the required new Lighted Daybeacon assemblies to remove and re-set the existing daybeacon referenced above as depicted in the scope of work and accompanying detail drawings. Time for Completion: The work shall be commenced on a date to be specified in a written order of the Owner and shall be completed within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days from and after the said date. Liquidated Damages: Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages in the amount of $ 500 Dollars per day for each consecutive calendar day which work is not complete beginning with the first day beyond the completion time. When entering into a Contract with CPRA, the Contractor shall furnish and pay for a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, which shall be signed by the surety's agent or attorney-in-fact, in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount. The Owner, the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, reserves the right to reject any and all Quotes for any reason.
