Site work and renovation of a civil project in Sumter, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project Location: Shiloh Treatment Plant at I-95 Rest Area Northbound Between County Rd 43-59 and Hwy 53 in Sumter County, SC Replacement of 2 submersible well pumps (each 15-HP) and associated 3"-diameter column pipe, electrical, and controls; clean 2 existing wells (each 6"-diameter, 300' deep); replacement of well head piping and appurtenances at 2 wells; and replacement of filter media in 3 sand filters. Construction Cost Range: $750,000 to $1,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Project includes the following Work: Base Bid Inspection, cleaning, disinfection, and testing of 2 existing wells (each 6"-diameter, 300' deep); replacement of 2 submersible well pumps (each 15-HP) and associated 3"-diameter column pipe, electrical, and controls; replacement of well head piping and appurtenances at 2 wells; replacement of treatment building raw water pipe and associated valves and appurtenances; replacement of vertical filter influent pipe with new flow meter; replacement of filter media in 3 sand filters; and electrical, mechanical, instruments, and controls. Additive Bid Alternates Repainting of 3 sand filters and replacement of all sand filter piping, valves, and appurtenances; replacement of 2 booster pumps (each 15-HP) and essential suction and discharge piping; add booster pump VFDs and replace booster pump piping and appurtenances in treatment building; replacement of treatment building roof and doors; replacement of chemical feed system and appurtenances; repainting of holding tank; tree removal; and PFAS testing Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
