Project: 589A7-23-314 Prepare Site for Gamma Camera, WI Project Number: 589A7-23-314 The Wichita VA Medical Center, Wichita Kansas has a requirement to Prepare Site for Gamma Camera. This is under Project Number 589A7-23-314 at the Wichita VA Medical Center, Wichita Kansas. This construction project is a competitive total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The project costs range is between $ 500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard $33.5 million. The duration of the project is estimated to be 180 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. This completion period includes submittals, final inspection, closeout documents, clean-up, and as-built-drawings. Award will be made utilizing the Best Value Tradeoff Source Selection Process in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15. The successful prime contractor must perform no less than 25 percent of the labor for NAICS Code 236220. Proposal submission instructions will be included in the solicitation package. The government plans to award without discussions but reserves the right to hold discussions if necessary. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, prospective contractors must be registered in SAM (System of Award Management) and in accordance with FAR 2.101, Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 802.101, prospective Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses must be registered in SAM (System of Award Management) and in the VetCert under the applicable NAICS. Firms may obtain SAM information at http://www.sam.gov and VetCert information at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/. The solicitation, including specifications and drawings, will be posted to Sam at SAM.gov on or about April 14, 2025. The offeror is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from the Sam website, which may be issued to this solicitation. Only one organized site visit will be scheduled, and attendance is encouraged for any responsible sources to submit an offer which shall be considered by Department of Veterans Affairs. The date, time, and place of the site visit will be posted in the solicitation documents. No hard copies of the solicitation or drawings will be provided; and telephone requests or questions will NOT be accepted. VA Wichita Health Care System Statement of Work: 589A7-23-314, Prepare Site for Gamma Camera, WI March 6, 2025 Purpose of Project: The VA Wichita Health Care System, Jeffers, will Prepare Site for Gamma Camera. Statement of Work: Contractor shall perform construction and renovation of existing space in building 19. This project will prepare an existing site on the Robert J. Dole VAMC for the replacement of Gamma Camera medical equipment. Construction will consist of but is not limited to, the following: replacement or relocation of MEP equipment, necessary demolition, and removal; new and reconfigured partitions and doorways; mechanical, plumbing, lighting, fire protection, and electrical systems upgrades (as necessary); new interior finishes to ceiling, walls, and flooring; new casework; site preparation for installation of government furnished equipment. Construction may also include the abatement of any asbestos as identified on the provided drawings. The construction of this project will take place in a very busy occupied building and is to be completed to allow medical care functions to be maintained uninterrupted throughout construction necessitating carefully phased construction and coordination with VA COR/users, including strict adherence to ICRA requirements. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
