Renovation of a fire / police facility in Kitchener, Ontario. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Qualified construction firms who provide General Contracting, Mechanical Sub- Contracting and Electrical Sub-Contracting services are invited to submit PREQUALIFICATION information for an upcoming procurement process for the WRPS Central Division 3rd Floor Alterations project. The successful Bidder (in the RFT process) will be part of a team formed by the Region and consultant(s) for the implementation of the project. Construction of the project is expected to commence in April 2026 with substantial completion November 2026. The project will be the renovation of an unfinished portion of the third floor of the WRPS Central Division facility located at 200 Frederick St. Kitchener. During the term of this prequalification, all contractors working on Region of Waterloo projects will be required to be enrolled in, and in good standing with, the Region's preferred safety compliance program (ISN).
