The City of Appleton City is accepting bids for chip & seal on designated city streets. The City reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids. The City of Appleton City herby requests proposals from qualified contractors for the provision of street chip & seal in Appleton City. o Bid will be for streets being swept prior to application of chip and seal as well as after with excess rock being hauled away. o Bid will be for chip & seal using 3/8" trap rock and CRS-2P Asphalt Emulsion on designated City streets o Bid will be priced per estimated quantity, unit price, and total for each project description o Bid will be for total application for each project description o Contractor will mill the end of streets to join evenly with cross streets if needed o Workers' compensation insurance and a policy of liability insurance indemnifying both the Contractor and the City from liability that may be incurred in the performance of this contract by the contractor, with an insurance company approved by the City for one hundred thousand dollars ($100, 000.00) per individual and one million dollars ($1,000, 000.00) per occurrence for personal injury and for property damage.
