Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Powder Springs, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; for site work for a fitness / recreation center; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project consists of exterior renovations including metal roof and siding reconditioning, cleaning, resealing, and painting exterior block, repairing exterior doors to function properly, removing existing sidewalk and replacing with 7 wide ADA accessible sidewalk with electric push button access to the Easternmost store front door. Interior renovations include removal and replacement of the gym flooring, interior paint, and security camera installation. Question Deadline 04/15/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Questions must be submitted through the portal electronic Notice to Proceed On or about August 1, 2025 All Bidders must be licensed by the state of Georgia as a General Contractor. A five percent (5%) bid bond, a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond, and a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond shall be furnished to Cobb County for any proposal as required in proposal documents. The construction duration for the work in this contract is sixty (60) calendar days. Failure to finally complete the work within 60 calendar days plus any approved extensions shall result in liquidated damages in the amount of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) per calendar day.
