Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lincoln, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Arterial Paving Rehabilitation Nebraska Parkway, 48th to 56th Street. These Special Provisions amend or supplement the City of Lincoln Standard Specifications for Municipal Construction, 2023 Edition and other provisions of the Contract Documents as indicated herein. All provisions that are not so amended or supplemented via these special provisions remain in full force and effect. Question Deadline 03/25/2025 at 2:00 PM CT Questions regarding the meaning, interpretation or clarification of any solicitation provision should be submitted through online. Bid security, as a guarantee of good faith, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, may be required to be submitted with the solicitation, as indicated on the solicitation. 8.1.1. Bid security, if required, shall be in the amount specified in the solicitation. The bid security may be scanned and attached to the Response Attachments section of your response in Ebid. The original bid security should then be sent or delivered to the office of the Purchasing Division, 440 S. 8th St., Ste. 200, Lincoln, NE 68508 within three (3) days of closing. The Contractor shall have no more than 139 consecutive calendar days from the Beginning of Work date to achieve Final Completion of this project. Work may begin on or after May 26, 2025. Substantial completion shall be achieved by December 1, 2025. Substantial completion is defined as all work complete, with the exception of seeding, and all lanes open to traffic. Failure to complete all Work associated with this contract by the final completion date shall result in liquidated damages to be assessed in accordance with the Lincoln Standard Specifications. Final completion of all work activities shall be on or before May 15, 2026. The Owner requires compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations regarding equal opportunity for all Bidders and encourages minority businesses, women's businesses, and locally owned business enterprises to participate in our bidding process. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject the deviations according to the best interests of the Owner. Deviations that are not acceptable to the Owner and not negotiable, may result in the Bidder being deemed as "non-responsive" and rejection of the response. The Owner reserves the right to reject a response, withdraw an award notification, or terminate a contract if it is determined there has been a violation of these purchasing procedures. The Owner reserves the right to cancel orders, or any part thereof, without obligation, if delivery is not made within the specified time(s). QA The original construction drawings did not include a joint layout plan. The Contractor shall place pavement joints according to the plan typical sections and Section 4.06 of the Standard Specifications. The Contractor will submit a joint layout plan to the City's Project Manager for review and approval a minimum of one week prior to the pre-construction meeting.
