Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kenansville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project will include rehabilitation of one sewer lift station and all appurtenances, removal and replacement of +-3,161 LF of gravity sewer, associated manholes, services, and paving work, lining of +-1,170 LF of gravity sewer by CIPP, and rehabilitation of 5 manholes. This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) which includes $2,000,000 in CDBG funds. All federal CDBG requirements will apply to the contract: Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Section 109 and E.O. 11246 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis Bacon Act, Anti-Kickback Act, and Contract Work hours and Safety Standards Act. The Town of Kenansville is committed to and supportive of efforts to effectively maintain and/or increase the use of Small, Minority/Women-Owned Business, Veteran-Owned, and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) contract participation for construction projects, services (including professional and consulting services) and commodities purchases, AND increase contract participation to offer employment, training and contracting opportunities in accordance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Town of Kenansville reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bid, Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for this project.
