Renovation of an educational facility in Stony Brook, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

AD ID# 2119001 Stony Brook University Hospital intends to make an award for the above-noted commodity, product, and/or service. A sealed bid will be held. If you are interested in providing a proposal for the above commodity/product and/or service, you must contact the appropriately designated Campus contact in this advertisement within 15 business days of this Advertisement Notice. An award will be made to one single Prime Contractor. A Wicks Waiver has been applied for by the Hospital. The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, shall include, but not be limited to the following: performing, installing, furnishing, and supplying all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Project Number 24753, titled ED Garage Reinforcements and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents. The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: major structural repairs to existing parking structures. Including, but not limited to, slab replacements in place, major beam and column rebuild in place, post-tensioning cable repair, full depth slab repair, concrete forming and placing, waterproofing applications. The considered vendor is to have shown experience working in an operational environment where facility staff are using the same structures being repaired as their respective parking garage. The vendor is to show experience with maintaining temporary traffic patterns and parking areas while working amongst facility staff parking and pedestrian traffic. Extensive experience with varying levels of shoring of existing structures is a must. Experience phasing of concrete pours and rebar placements is also a requirement. Questions received after the closing date for inquiries will not be answered. All questions must be relevant to the Bidder's response to this IFB. Estimated Project Start Date: May 7, 2025 Estimated Project Completion Date: October 20, 2025 Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 20% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 10% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Question Deadline 03/26/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Forms 7564-104 and 7564-108 are no longer required for construction bids.
