Site work and renovation of a civil project in Taylor Lake Village, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

In general, this work consists of: 1. Contractor shall acquire all permits and provide copies to LAN as prerequisite to starting work. 2. Temporary bypass pumping for lining of wet well with cementitious lining and epoxy coating, including bypass pumping for lift station rehabilitation to provide continuous sewer service diverted around the lift station during rehabilitation. Contractor shall coordinate with operation staff and/or Contractor for planned Lift Station No. 20 Rehabilitation Project to ensure there is no flow from Lift Station No. 20 to Lift Station No. 21 during temporary bypass pumping. 3. Relocation of quick disconnect assembly, including cleaning and coating existing valves to re-use. Relocation includes rotating existing tee as shown on plans. 4. Remove and replace existing 6-inch plug valves and check valves as indicated on plans. 5. Power wash inside of valve vault and repair crack in valve vault wall with cementitious liner. 6. Remove existing ductile iron piping within the valve vault and replace with type 316 stainless steel, including any necessary isolation kits, protective coatings, and all other appurtenances. 7. Remove existing 6" vent pipe, grout pipe penetration, and install a new 6" type 316 stainless steel vent pipe in proposed location as indicated on plans. 8. Prevent infiltration on wet well walls by chemical grout injections. 9. Lining of wet well interior and roof with an Engineer approved cementitious lining system, including cleaning, removal, and disposal of sediment, grit, sludge, and unsound concrete and surface preparation and application of 1-inch Engineer approved cementitious material for extremely harsh environments. 10. Line wet well interior with Engineer approved epoxy coating. 11. Removal of existing 6-inch ductile iron wet well piping. 12. Installation of 6-inch type 316 stainless steel wet well piping, including any bends, fittings, reducers, supports, beam and Ubrackets, and all other appurtenances. Reseat and reseal pump stands. Remove and replace pump stands only as directed by Engineer. 13. Fill gap around 10" influent pipe with concrete and coat with an Engineer approved epoxy. 14. Remove and replace 4" drain pipe and flap valve. 15. Replace wet well and valve vault access hatches and install metal safety gratings. 16. Provide and install remote monitoring system for existing generator on-site that includes cellular communications. 17. Site restoration, including removing and replacing concrete sidewalks, driveways, and damaged turf, plants, shrubs, fences, and trees, as required. It is the responsibility of the contractor bidding the project to ensure the accuracy of the reproduction of all bid documents and construction drawings. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, proper scaling, paper width and length, etc. Failure to do so may result in errors in the unit bid quantities and/or bid amount.
