Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Milo, Maine. Completed plans call for the construction of a 23,032-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The Town of Milo, Maine (OWNER) cordially invites bids for the construction of new Milo Public Safety Building at the town owned site on Park Street in Milo, Maine. Bidders must submit three original copies. Envelopes shall be addressed: MILO PUBLIC SAFETY CONSTRUCTION BID - DO NOT OPEN The work generally consists of the following: Scope of Work includes but is not limited to the construction of a 23,032 sq ft public safety building to contain Milo's fire, police, and public works departments. The public safety will be a manufactured steel building with EPDM roof and metal siding. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing per the design documents. This bid is partially funded through USDA Rural Development and must be done in accordance with documents supplied within the Bid Package. This project will use standard wages. Questions on the bid manual and plans will be forwarded to Plymouth Engineering, Inc. via email, Adam.Violette@plymouthengineering.com. The bid security shall be 5% of the bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive all informalities and reject any and all proposals or to accept any proposal as may be deemed to be in the Owner's best interest. The Owner is a tax exempt entity.
