A one hundred percent (100%) Public Construction Bond is required upon notification of St. Lucie Countys intention to award the contract to the apparent successful bidder A 1.83% DBE participation is required for this bid, if the total proposed DBE participation is less than the established DBE goal, Bidder must provide written documentation of the good faith efforts as required by 49 CFR Part 26, or their bid shall be rejected as non-responsive. Treasure Coast International Airport is a member of the Unified Certification Program (UCP) in the State of Florida. The Treasure Coast International Airport will only accept DBE Firms that are certified under the Unified Certification Program. The UCP Directory is found at online. Bidders may not withdraw their Bid for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days after the bid opening date The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities; reject any and all bids/proposals which are incomplete, conditional, obscure, or which contain additions not allowed for; accept or reject any proposal in whole or in part with or without cause; and accept the proposal which best serves the County Bid date notes: Bidders shall submit ONE (1) MARKED ORIGINAL AND TWO (2) PHOTOCOPIES OF THE COMPLETED BID PACKAGE in a sealed envelope. The Project Name, Bid Number, and time and date of the Bid opening shall be clearly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope. Facsimile responses shall not be accepted. Question Deadline 04/02/2025 Submit all questions about the Drawings and Specifications to the Purchasing Department in writing via facsimile or email (email preferred). Replies will be issued to all bidders of record as Addenda to the Drawings and Specifications and will become part of the Contract. The County will not be responsible for oral clarification. Questions received less than ten (10) days before bid opening cannot be answered.
