The City of Bluefield, West Virginia Code Enforcement Department, located at 200 Rogers St,will be receiving sealed bids for the properties in violation of the city grass ordinance. This work shall consist of periodic mowing within the corporate limits of the City of Bluefield. Mowing contracts will be valid for the 2025 mowing season which will run from April7th to November 1st, as needed. The successful bidder shall:1.Mow and/or trim properties designated by Code Enforcement in excess of twelve(12)inches.2.Rake properties after the grass has been cut.3.Bag all grass clippings and yard debris associated with cutting the grass.4.Dispose of all bagged grass clippings and yard debris in proper waste receptacles or landfill.Submissions may be tendered by mail or hand delivered to:Code Enforcement City of Bluefield, WV200 Rogers St Bluefield, WV 24701 The City of Bluefield reserves the right to contract with one business for the entire project or more than one business as the City deems it to be in its best interests.
