The Bidder awarded the Contract for the Work shall obtain a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in a penal sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price of the Contract awarded in the form and content included with the Contract Documents for the Project. The Performance Bond and Labor & Materials Payment Bond of the successful Bidder are acceptable only if: (i) issued by a California admitted surety insurer in accordance with Code of Civil Procedure 995.311 ; and (ii) AM Best rated at least A-/VIII. Rejection of Bid Proposals; Waiver of Minor Irregularities. The District expressly reserves the right to reject all Bid Proposals.
