Reference Number 0000380290 Delivery Point: Locations in Pueblo, Co This Request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to be used to select a Design-Build Team (DB Team) that will be used for the design and construction of water main crossings in Pueblo Boulevard from adjoining streets and main replacement in Pueblo Boulevard along with construction of Pueblo Water designed main replacement in adjacent streets. The Design-Build Team is expected to be composed of a Utility Contractor, Pothole Subcontractor (if needed), and Geotechnical/Civil Engineer (if needed) for those portions of the project that cross under the Pueblo Boulevard ROW and to provide technical specifications and P&P Sheets if HDPE, boring/casing methods are selected. If open trench method to cross Pueblo Boulevard is selected, Pueblo Water will provide the design. SEE INCLUDED RFP SPECIFICATION PACKET FOR FURTHER PROJECT DETAILS. Description of the Project: The Project will be split into two phases: Phase 1 will be the Pre-Construction Services which includes executing necessary potholing on Pueblo Boulevard to facilitate the SUE plan for Contractor's permit submittal to CDOT; develop method to effectively extend designated Pueblo Boulevard cross street mains; order necessary material for crossings (Pueblo Water will provide a $100,000 material allowance). Phase 2; Contractor will provide a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) to construct Pueblo Boulevard main crossings and cross street water main replacement as designed by Pueblo Water (Pueblo Water will supply all construction materials less those materials ordered by the contractor in Phase 1).
