Site work and renovation of a civil project in Rapid City, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Improvements include replacement of equipment in Well 8, well house electrical equipment, improvements to chemical storage and delivery, safety upgrades, process piping improvements, and HVAC improvements. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. The work will be completed under one (1) contract with the Owner. B. The work consists of rehabilitation and upgrading of Rapid City Well 8 facility. 1. This work includes but is not limited to: replacement of existing well pitless unit, pump, motor, and column pipe. Inside of the well house replacement of 8-inch ductile iron pipe, two (2) 8-inch butterfly valves with electric actuators, 8-inch inch swing check valve, one (1) 8-inch electromagnetic flow meter, pipe supports, flouride feed equipment, and painting and coating. Plumbing includes domestic water piping, electric water heater, outside emergency eye wash, domestic water booster pump, and connection to existing emergency eyewash. Heating and ventilation equipment including an exterior dedicated outdoor air unit, ductless split system, condensing unit, fans and associated duct work. Electrical consisting of one (1) variable frequency drive, electrical power, controls, conduit, wiring, purchase and installation of instrumentation and control service package from an Owner designated integrator. Also included are any incidental items needed for a complete and operational well facility. 2. The Contractor shall provide manufactures O&M Manuals, and provide equipment training.
