Thompson Road Drainage Improvement Project - Storm Sewer Pipe and Supplies The City of Wheaton Public Works Department is soliciting sealed bids from qualified industrial pipe supply warehouses for the supply and delivery of storm sewer pipe and related materials for the Thomas Road Drainage Improvement Project. This is a formal bid process, and bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions outlined in this document. Project Description The Thomas Road Drainage Improvement Project is a critical infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing stormwater management in northeast Wheaton. The project scope includes the installation of approximately 2,000 linear feet of storm sewer pipe, along with necessary fittings, couplings, manholes, and other related infrastructure. The project site presents challenges due to existing water utility infrastructure, necessitating precise material specifications and timely delivery. Installation will be performed by City of Wheaton personnel. All questions, clarifications or revisions regarding this bid will be issued via a written addendum and published online. Each Vendor shall acknowledge receipt of any addenda on the Cost Proposal form. Each Vendor, by acknowledging receipt of any addenda, is responsible for the content of the addenda and any changes to the bid. Failure to acknowledge the issued addenda may cause the bid submittal to be rejected. It is the sole responsibility of the Vendor to ensure that their bid is delivered by the stated bid opening date/time. The City is not responsible for misdirected bid packages.
